Green light for the Horizon Europe WP 2023-2024

The Commission has adopted the main Horizon Europe Work Programme 2023/2024, with around €13.5 billion to support researchers and innovators in Europe to pursue breakthrough solutions for environmental, energy, digital and geopolitical challenges.

Actions to mitigate climate change and reduce the EU CO2 emissions remain one of the key objective, with €5.67 billion (over 42% of the work programme’s budget) dedicated to reaching key climate action objectives, finding innovative solutions to reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and adapting to climate change.

The 6 topics published in the 2Zero partnership, included under Destination 5 – “Clean and competitive solutions for all transport modes”, will bring a significant contribution to achieving decarbonisation in road transport.

The 2Zero topics are now available on our website.

Horizon Europe Information Days on Cluster 5 – Climate, Energy & Mobility will take place online on 15th and 16th December 2022. The 2Zero topics will be presented on 16th December from 11.00 to 12.30. Do not hesitate to register to learn more about the scope of the topics, and expected outcomes and find possible project partners.
