PhD Programme Opportunity: MSCA COFUND – Futuredata4EU Call for Application

The Università di Bologna, in collaboration with the Universities of the Emilia-Romagna Region, launched the MSCA COFUND – Futuredata4EU Call for Application for 53 doctoral positions in seven thematic areas related to big data:

• Health;
• Culture, Creativity and Inclusive Society;
• Civil Security for Society;
• Digital, Industry and Space;
• Climate, Energy and Mobility;
• Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment;
• Enabling Technologies.

The 53 doctoral positions are distributed as follows:

• 21 to Università di Bologna,
• 9 each to Università di Modena e Reggio Emilia, Università di Parma, and Università di Ferrara,
• 3 to Politecnico di Milano (Polo territoriale di Piacenza), and
• 2 to Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Campus di Piacenza).

The 53 selected candidates will be enrolled in one university doctoral programme and will be contracted with a 36-month research fellowship (“assegno di ricerca”).

Please note that applicants must respect the mobility rule: candidates may not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in Italy for more than one year in the three years immediately before the programme’s call closure.

The deadline to submit the application is June 28^th, 2024, 2 pm CEST.
